To mark the last day of 2016-2018 batch of SIIB, ‘Stepping Out’ day was organized at SIIB auditorium on 29th of March, 2018. Entire batch of 2016-18 and 2017-19 along with faculty graced the event which was anchored by junior batch students- Disha Budhlani and K.J. Sajani.

The event began with lighting of lamp by Dir. Asmita Chitnis, Dy.Dir. Dr. Prakash Rao and Col. Dr. Rao, Mr. Dipen Paul, Dr. Jeevan Nagarkar, Prof. Rajesh Jawajala, Dr. Shubhashish Bhattacharya and Prof. Viraja Bhatt- were amongst the faculty who delivered speeches.

Students shared the stage as a medium to tell stories about their journey of two years, filled with stressful life of academics, to the everlasting bonds of friendship and camaraderie. As they descended towards corporate life before parting ways with college life, they thanked the teaching faculty and the institution which were pivotal in shaping their management careers.

Awards were distributed to the outstanding students who went ahead an extra mile during their two-year curriculum. This year’s ‘Excellence in Finance’ went to Devika Kinikar (IB), ‘Excellence in Marketing’ went to Akash Gangil (IB), ‘Excellence in HR’ went to Eshita Gupta (IB), ‘Excellence in SCM’ went to Aditi Patel while Devika Kinikar bagged the ‘Best Student of MBA’ award.
