Short Synopsis of the Workshop:
On 3rd January, the students of MBA International Business 2019-2021 batch and 2018-20 batch witnessed an intriguing guest lecture convened by Mr. S. Ramachandra, CEO, Amco Batteries Securities and co-founder of Littler associates, a consulting firm specializing in the area of Marketing and Strategy. In his speech, Mr. Ramachandra spoke about ‘Changing the World’ by creating an entrepreneurial mindset.
He spoke about the catalysts that are fueling the rapid change in the world such as economic growth and technological revolutions. He proceeded to talk about decoding the art of how to learn at educational institutions. He discussed how coping with change requires us to create the change and innovation ourselves. He went forward to talk about the methods of creating the change - starting off by having a good reason to create change - having a purpose in life, trying to make the world a better place to live in by creating something good, improving the quality of something by making it better, and probably trying to correct a terrible wrong or prevent the end of something good.
He focused on the importance of developing an idea that is useful, feasible and marketable. He discussed how we as students need to introspect and understand what differentiates us from the pack and then capitalize on those traits and move towards demonstrating our ability and getting things done. He finally concluded the talk by speaking about not fighting change but embracing it, making things happen and that is the best security one can have.
Mr. Ramachandra gave us useful tips on how to develop an entrepreneurial mindset through his unique life experiences.
