FAO of UN was established to achieve “food security for all”. The FAO take efforts to eradicate hunger in developing countries and countries in transition to modernise, by improving their Agriculture, forestry and Fisheries practices, and thereby ensures food security for all.
The 3 main goals of FAO are:
- Elimination of hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition
- Elimination of poverty and driving forward of economic and social progress for all
- Sustainable management and utilisation of natural resources.
