Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop at EHS+ Center SIIB, 7 May 2016
The India EHS+ Center is housed within Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune and offers world-class training on various EHS topics from basic and fundamental to skill building and capstone based courses specific to industries. Recently, ISC has entered into an agreement with Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) to boost effective EHS best practices for industries and supplier base of M and M. As part of this SIIB along with ISC conducted a needs assessment survey for M&M suppliers for identifying the opportunity and insight for training needs for its suppliers, and ensure that there is a need for aligning trainers with ISC syllabus and topic contents. A one day workshop for training of trainers (ToT) was conducted on 07th May 2016 at EHS+ Center, SIIB Pune. The key objective of the workshop was to introduce and inform trainers and external consultants of the EHS+ center with EHS+ network guidelines for curriculum development and content delivery. Also, the curriculum development required for the upcoming M&M suppliers training program was covered; identification of content specialists for identified topics for EHS and Energy audits were discussed. Sharing of information and observations on the M&M supplier’s vendor walk through survey at Pune, Nashik and Kolhapur in March 2016 by Prof. D.S. Gandhe and Mr. Sanjay Nirgudkar were addressed and discussed for topic identification.
