The University of British Columbia, Canada
The University of British Columbia (UBC) is a publicresearch university with campuses in Vancouver and Kelowna, British Columbia. Established in 1908, UBC is British Columbia's oldest university and currently has a student population of over 65000 in 16 faculties. With an annual research budget of $600 million, UBC funds over 8,000 projects a year.
The 2020 QS World University Rankings ranked the University 51st in the world and as per Times Higher education, it is ranked 34. Students attend the two weeks to one month Summer school at UBC from mid-July to mid-August.
