The University of British Columbia (UBC) is a public research university with campuses in Vancouver and Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Established in 1908, UBC is British Columbia’s oldest university and currently has a student population of over 65000 in 16 faculties.

In the year 2019, SIIB started a summer school exchange programme with University of British Columbia. The Vancouver Summer Programme is an intensive four-week academic programme giving participants the opportunity to gain knowledge of culture and practices in Canada. Students attend the two weeks to one-month Summer school at UBC from mid-July to mid-August.
