Bizooka 6.0

The Entrepreneurship Cell of SIIB hosted its flagship B-plan competition Bizooka 6.0 on the 13th and 14th of December 2019. Day 1 of the event saw participation in huge numbers from various colleges in the B-plan competition. The speakers for the day were Ms. Sakshi Gupta, Founder – Consultapreneur, CA Rank 1, Mr. Sandeep Bhat, Founder- Mindspeak and startup mentor, and Mr. Varad Despande, Founder – Co-founder and Managing partner - Yorkshire. They spoke about various aspects of what makes a startup successful and how to take entrepreneurial risks at a young age. The lectures were followed up with an interactive session with the students which gave the students a deep insight into the business world. Day 2 of Bizooka 6.0 saw eminent personalities as guest speakers which included Mr. Mayank Bhateja, Founder of Credenc and LetsIntern, Mr. Raaj Bajaj, Founder of FABGetaways, Mr. Harish Chatterjee, Vice President of Raymonds, Mr. Mudit Yadav, Founder of My Success Story and Mr. Sahil Verma, Senior Writer and Director at TVF. The event started with an audio-visual presentation showcasing various business leaders of the world. The top three teams which had qualified the B-plan semifinals presented their business ideas in front of judges which was followed by a Question and Answer round by them. Post the competition, the guest talked about their startup journeys, their ideas, the problems that they faced and how they ultimately overcame them to become successful. They advised the students to follow their passion and their intuition to achieve success in life. The event concluded with the announcement of the winners and a vote of thanks by Dr. Suchita Jha, Assistant Professor, SIIB. The event was an overall success and a very good opportunity to learn everything about the entrepreneurial world.
