InQuiZitive Business Quiz - 2017

The 25th Anniversary of SIIB celebration saw InQuizitive – a Business Quiz competition being organized in the institution. It was open for students of both the batches and was held over one week.
The competition saw 55 teams of 3 members each applying and vying to make to make it to the next round. The first round was an online round with 35 questions to be answered by a within a time of 15 minutes. At the end of Round 1, the field was reduced to just 10.
Round 2 was conducted in 3 rounds: an online Stage in which teams had to answer 25 questions, in 15 minutes and 2 offline rounds namely image identification and rapid fire.
Each sub-round saw two teams getting eliminated and competition intensifying with progress. The last four remaining were shortlisted for the third final round.
The final round was held in the auditorium on the 14th and was graced by the presence of Director Dr Asmita Chitnis ma’am, Dy Director Prakash Rao Sir and the faculty of SIIB. The quizmaster for the final round was Adhira Chordia and was assisted by Prateek Shakya as the scorekeeper.
With five rounds designed to test the teams on intellect, speed and awareness the final round saw a promise of battle among teams to be the champions. Each round was timer based and had only one correct answer.
Team Artemis emerged the champions after taking early lead and building on it and were the clear winners with a wide margin.
Amidst the grind of the quiz , the audience round came as a welcome entertainment for the audience. They were involved in answering 10 questions and each correct answer saw them getting a goodie.
The event concluded with team Artemis being awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 from Director Ma’am, a few words from her stressing on the importance of being aware of current events and the importance of quizzing. She further went on to appreciate SPARSH on a well-organised quiz. She termed it informative and of a high standard.
The faculty-in-charge of SPARSH, Prof. Rajesh Jawajala also congratulated the winning team Artemis and SPARSH on a well conducted event.
