SIIB organized the “Induction Program” for the new batch of 2018-2020!!!

Induction program for each new batch entering the corridors of SIIB is conducted every year; but seems as fresh and authentic as if being organized for the first time…

This year too it was an engaging one hour program where Dr. Asmita Chitnis, the Director of SIIB formally welcomed Dr. S.B. Mujumdar – Founder & President, Symbiosis, Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar – Pro- Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and Principal Director, Symbiosis Society, Dr. Rajani Gupte – Vice Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) & our Chief Guest for the occasion Mr. Hanmant Gaikwad – Chairman & Managing Director, BVG India Ltd. and the Guest of Honor - Mr. Vinod Sahay – CEO, Mahindra Truck and Bus & Construction Equipment Division led them to the dais for the auspicious lighting of our traditional lamp.

Director of SIIB welcomed the students of 2018-2020 with her words offering challenges, opportunities and great scope for the students to make the most of these two years at SIIB.

Like each year, Dr Mujumdar gave an enlighting speech to motivate each youngster of the new batch of 2018-2020 along with nice anecdotes. Dr Vidya & Dr Gupte too followed with the same tempo and in sync with the objectives and right mission of the Symbiosis International University in promoting global citizens.

Guest of honor Mr. Sahay (an alumnus of SIIB) instantly formed a connect with the students by way of delivering a very apt and strong message to the batch and shared his career learnings so far in the span of 20 years that were felt captivating by one and all.

And the speaker who rightly was called the Chief Guest for the day- Mr. Gaikwad (Chairman & Managing Director, BVG India Ltd.) was the hero of the day as his real life learnings; not only inspired the students but the entire audience including the other dignitaries, faculty members and the parents present. A scintillating talk worth listening to; delivered genuinely and with full conviction was a treat to the incoming batch of students today.

Finally, the much-deserved vote of thanks was provided neatly by our Deputy Director Dr. Prakash Rao and the event concluded on a right note and on time.
