FROM STRATEGIC PLANNING TO STRATEGIC AGILITY
Head honchos of companies, in their heydays formulated corporate strategies that resonated over time and space. Products and markets moved through their life cycles in a sequential, orderly manner; maybe a few generations ago, but certainly no more. Nowadays one can simply not predict the market dynamics!
So if one is still doing strategic planning the old way, when the next big change hits the market or industry, they are sure to get left behind.
The study of management, self-consciousness and agility that leads to superior quality is what Arthashashtra teaches us - A fact that is relevant even in today’s world.
