Synopsis of the Workshop:
The 16th of July, 2020 marked the first day of SIIB’s very first virtual orientation programme, where the students of the new 2020-2022 batches got to be an audience. Mr. Shivram Apte, Founder & CEO of Aspect drew insight from various real-life examples while providing many anecdotes in regards to “What makes a good MBA?” He assured the students that despite the pandemic and current apprehensions in the world, it was a good time to start an MBA degree. He was able to provide us with a perspective as a student, a recruiter and from a third-person
Towards the end, Mr. Shivram Apte asked us to always endeavour to “make the connect” and thereby helping us see the value in what we do. After an interactive Q&A session where he enthusiastically answered each student’s query, he left us with a book recommendation about MBA life - “Snapshots From Hell” by Peter Robinson.
Overall Feedback: It was an extremely enthralling first day of orientation that gave the students insight into how to make the best out of their MBA degree.
