In his speech, Mr. Ankit spoke about ‘Resume of Deviation’ by creating an entrepreneurial mindset.
He spoke about how he started his journey from Deloitte consulting and then went on to build a solution to instill competitiveness within the student community which gave birth to Dare2Compete. He focused on the part which enabled leading brands to engage with the students’ community in the most interactive way to discover, measure and hire the best talent and fulfill all their objectives like employer branding, hiring and driving brand/product adoptions. He introduced D2C Igniters to the batch and spoke about how it is a first-of-its-kind community program that fosters a culture of competitiveness, learning, growth and aims to create an environment that provides an opportunity for students to showcase their talent and skills.
He told the students the main aim of this program is to create a community that becomes self-sufficient in the future and stays for years on campuses. Hence, they were looking for student campus ambassadors from various colleges to head the D2C Igniters Club from those campuses and wanted to collaborate with SIIB too. He further stressed on the fact that he wanted to form a small student team in every college that catalyzes the elements of change and during the process, each member of the team brings out the leader in them at the forefront.
Mr. Ankit shared anecdotes from his corporate to entrepreneurial journey and inspired the students that they should focus on following their passion especially when they want to solve a particular problem.
