The MBA-IB is a two-year full time residential course. It is
an intensive course specifically designed for a rewarding
career in management, globally.
Students from diverse
academic backgrounds: engineering, electronics, computers,
physics, mathematics,biotechnology, pharmacy, economics, commerce etc.
provide a vibrant tone to this unique and interactive programme. The student is

The first year creates the base for understanding business management through programmes
designed to take into account
the varied backgrounds of the students. Core courses in International Business are spread over the two years to create a strong foundation, which is
enhanced by specialisations in the functional areas of Marketing, Finance, supply Chain management and HR from the second semester.
The Institute follows a semester system to ensure in-depth
coverage and evaluation of every subject. SIIB ensures that
every core subject is covered over a minimum of 30 hrs. of classroom
inputs and every elective is covered over 30 hrs. 60% of
the evaluation of every subject is done on a continuous basis,
which creates a rigorous schedule.
