METHOD OF ASSESSMENT
All internal courses will have 100% component as internal evaluation at the institute level. All external courses will have 60 % internal components and 40% component as external (University exam).
STANDARD OF PASSING
The assessment of the students for each course is done based on the relative performance of the student compared to the class average .Maximum GP is 4 corresponding to A+. For all the courses, a student is required to pass both internal and external exams separately with a minimum grade of 1.6 corresponding to the grade D - Grade Point.
AWARD OF DEGREE
‘MBA (Agri Business)’ degree will be awarded at the end of 4th Semester examination by taking into consideration the performance of all the 4 Semesters’ examinations. Student obtaining a minimum 2.00 CGPA out of 4.00 CGPA will be awarded degree.
For Batch 2012-14
All MBA programs (full time, residential) at SIIB are of 100 credits. Out of which, 30 credits are internal and 70 credits are external. Out of these 70 credit courses, 60% is evaluated internally and 40% is evaluated externally.
Internal assessment is based on a pattern of continuous evaluation.
• A score below 40 out of 100 (absolute score below 40%) would be deemed as failure -(Grade F)
• Student needs to secure 40% marks in each course (separately for Continuous and External evaluation)
‘MBA (International Business)’ degree will be awarded at the end of 4th Semester examination by taking into consideration the performance of all the 4 Semesters’ examinations.
