Agreed the work schedule @SIIB is quite grueling & sometimes you might find yourself praying for that extra 25^th hour in a day to God. But relax....life @ SIIB is not that humdrum. We know that all work & no play make jack a dull boy. SO our academic schedule is peppered with a lot of other fun filled activities like AARMBH (a night for seniors by juniors), fresher’s party (the name says it all), guest lecture from eminent speakers form industries (a needed break from class lecture), competitions (quiz, research papers etc.), out bound program at the starting of each session (an ice breaking session away from college....a not-to-miss event), celebration of festivals like ONAM, GANESH CHATURTH,DURGA PUJA, Sporting events (Cricket, swimming, basketball, football...).....in short we make sure that you never run out of enthusiasm & try to keep the batteries charged, so that life @ SIIB can go on & on. Apart from the above mentioned activities you can also enhance your time @ SIIB by being part of various student committee like PlaceCom, Student academic committee, Guest lecture committee, Alumni committee, web design committee or can also be part of various social initiatives like KSHITIJ, PRAYATNA & various other community development projects & learn a few things or two. For the students who are of studious type we have a well-equipped & well-furnished library which is open till 10:00 pm. All the faculties are quite experienced, well-versed in their respective fields & they make every possible effort to make their subjects easy for the sake of students. Talking about other facilities we have an auditorium which seats around 350 people, academic blocks are connected with round the clock Wi-Fi facilities, fitness centre, health Centre & swimming pool as well.

 

A few words about the hostel & food....Hostels are quite spacious (3-students per room). We have separate blocks for Boys & Girls with attached toilet & bathroom with hot water facility are available. Wi-Fi/ LAN connectivity is available. Breakfast, lunch & dinner are served in the mess at suitable time. The menu is good & undergoes some changes regularly (There is a food committee which takes care for the menu) but we all know taste-buds of some students are hard to be satisfied, for them also we have the solution. At Symbiosis hostel we have cafeteria, with full of hustle and bustle, tasty, delicious and spicy multi-cuisines.

 

SIIB’s unique collegiate set-up means that as a student is never isolated from the rest of the campus- in fact; one feels closer to it by being in such close contact with students from a wide variety of other disciplines & at times even nationality.
