Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) is one of the finest B-schools in India with a global focus.

The business environment today is evolving with increasing rapidity. What is emerging today in the corporate world is a new professional figure: the global manager - the manager who can confront complex economic and social phenomena with a new capacity for decision making and an aptitude for risk, which upto now were expected only of entrepreneurs. Even the highest technical skills are no longer sufficient to cope with any business environment, in the fast moving and often unpredictable markets that we see around us. The ability, therefore, to grasp the implications of the expanding horizons in a shrinking world and the sensitivity to adapt and in fact, leverage this for the growth of the organization, is what differentiates global managers from others.

The courses at SIIB are designed to provide exactly this perspective, in every sector, including a specific course for the Agribusiness sector.

The approach adopted at SIIB seeks to empower the students to harness their potential strengths, to emerge as positive, well-informed and confident individuals.

The design of the course is rigorous, requiring intensive application. Continuous evaluation, emphasis on self-study, numerous projects and presentations, and deadlines for assignments ensure that time management skills are developed. There is a fine blend of theoretical and practical inputs through faculty drawn from industry, to ensure that the students are perfectly industry-ready in their chosen functional areas.

SIIB is now a constituent of Symbiosis International Univetrsity (established under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956).

Summer Placements begin September 2009 onwards.
(Students will be available for summer internships from mid - April 2010 to end - June 2010 for 8 to 10 weeks)

Pre-placement Talks: October 2009 onwards
